OK, so it isn't a picture of me in my Prius - it's even better; it's a picture of two Prii together! My new 2005 Prius is in front, and my best friend Rennie's 2001 Prius is behind it. I bought the car in early December 2004 after being on a waiting list for four months (and I lucked out at that; I still had several months to go when one suddenly became available because someone else backed out of buying it and I won the ensuing race to the Toyota dealer to claim it!)

I haven't had time to take many good pictures of it or build an elaborate web page for it, but I did manage to take some geeky measurements of its startup behavior to answer some questions that people on the Yahoo mailing list were asking. And to do some calculations on its regenerative braking in response to some other discussions on the list (also available in MathCad 12 format). Once an engineer, always an engineer!
