The shrine room in the monastery complex. This picture doesn't really do
justice to either the size or the splendor of the place; the Buddha statue is
about fourteen feet high, and the entire place was luminous with light and color.
We were in here about three hours a day meditating and receiving teachings,
with about three more hours in the guesthouse shrine room in meditations and
discussion groups.
