Although India is a vast and complex country full of fascinating things, it suffers
from a severe shortage of cats. I'd gone weeks without seeing any at all until we
stopped at yet another monastery and I discovered a pair of frisky, friendly little guys.
This is one of them, and although you can't hear her, she's purring up a storm as I
simultaneously pet and photograph her
(aren't autofocus cameras great?).
