After we moved to the Tibetan Quarter, three of us took the
Metro downtown for a day of
sightseeing and shopping. We got worn out pretty quickly by all the hustle and
insistence, but before we did we had dessert at a Baskin Robins and saw the amazing
sight of a McDonald's restaurant with a doorman! Apparently here it's high end...
We all wondered what they made their burgers out of, what with cows being holy here,
but we didn't wonder enough to go in and find out. However, now that I'm back a quick Google
search reveals
the answer.
