Unfortunately, simple-minded bracketing isn't always the answer. Even at -2EV,
the moon is still blown out (although less badly). To make this shot come out I would
have had to override the camera's auto-bracketing, which can only go down -2EV, and
manually set it to correctly expose the moon. And I would have had to do all that fast
enough to keep the clouds or the moon from moving too much for the photos to align when
combined. HDR, alas, is no substitute for thinking about what you're doing...
